Like standard text messaging, you can also send audio recordings, transmit documents up to 100 MB, attach images, and even drop a pin to indicate where you are. Users of WhatsApp can send secure messages to any other WhatsApp user when connected to Wi-Fi. Before using the app, double-check your cellular plan to make sure you won’t be charged. But, depending on your cellular plan, your carrier may charge you if you are not connected to Wi-Fi or you are roaming. WhatsApp may be downloaded and used for free as long as you have access to Wi-Fi or a cellular connection.
